A vacancy to fill a Facilities Administration job at an established manufacturing company based near Devonport, Plymouth PL1 is available. Permanent Administration job - Salary up to £26.5k - working hours M-F 40 hrs pw.
Job Duties
The ideal candidate for the Facilities Administration job will
- Coordinate facilities maintenance & reactive works of the site.
- Responsible for equipment maintenance & ensure the facilities team carries out work according to health & safety procedures.
- Prioritize & coordinate maintenance works & manage day to day issues on equipment.
- Dealing with emergencies, call outs & escalating process.
- Obtaining quotes from subcontractors, coordinate & ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner.
- Develop & apply preventive maintenance routines on equipment with the facilities management team.
- Communicate with teams & contractors to resolve critical issues & ensure site operations are not impacted by facilities work as much as reasonably possible.
- Dealing with other areas of the business including assembly, supply chain, development & engineering
Job Requirements
The ideal candidates for the Facilities Administration job will
- Have experience supervising contractors.
- Ability to work under pressure & with minimal supervision.
- Experience working in a similar Administration job in a logistics, production or manufacturing environment.
- Have good communication skills & be PC literate (excel, word, power point & CAFM system).
- Suitable candidates for the Administration job would be someone who has worked as a Facilities Coordinator, Facilities Administrator, Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, Maintenance Coordinator, Facilities Supervisor or Building Facilities Coordinator.
