Blade Recruitment is currently looking to fill a number of temporary Electrical Maintenance jobs in Essex for the Romford area. 

Our Client, a well established building services engineering company providing electrical & mechanical maintenance services to blue chip companies around the UK, is looking for talented maintenance electricians to fill a number of electrical maintenance jobs for their sites in Essex.

The temp electrical maintenance jobs are mobile around Romford, Essex visiting clients at mainly commercial office buildings. The pay rate offered is £26 per hour plus a company van, mobile phone, uniform and tools, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.

Job Duties

The electrical maintenance jobs in Essex will involve carrying out preventative planned maintenance & reactive maintenance to building plant & equipment. 

Attending various fault finding and repairs, including minor electrical installation work, emergency lighting & fire alarm testing. 

Basic mechanical maintenance to AHU’s, FCU’s and pumps. 

The electrical maintenance jobs will include hot and cold water supply, fabric maintenance, plumbing, wiring, basic HVAC and water treatment.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for any of the electrical maintenance jobs in Essex will have electrical qualifications, be a trade qualified Electrician & have the 18th edition.

A background doing a similar Electrical Maintenance job would be ideal, experience in commercial maintenance of office buildings would be beneficial.

The candidate for the electrical maintenance jobs in Essex would ideally be multi skilled, have a good knowledge of plumbing, mechanical & hvac systems.

A full clean driving license is required for the temp mobile electrical maintenance jobs and the job role is urgent and ideally the candidate would be able to start immediately.

Job Offer

The Electrical Maintenance Jobs in Essex are temporary and long term, it is an ongoing job role and could lead to a permanent job role. 

Pay rate offered is up to £26 per hour depending on experience.

Hours are 40 per week, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
