Our client in Cornwall, UK (Truro) has a vacancy for a Handyman to join their Hotel Maintenance department at a luxury Hotel near the Truro area. The handyman job role involves weekend work & is mostly 7:30-5:00 daily, paying up to £28k per year.

Job Duties

The Handyman job will involve

Able to carry out basic repairs across plumbing, electrics & telecoms networks.
Require maintenance of swimming pools, Jacuzzi & preventative planned maintenance & reactive maintenance of plant & equipment around the hotel.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for the handyman job will be

Living in Cornwall, preferably near to the Truro area, immaculately presented with excellent customer service & good communication skills.
Keeping the hotel in an immaculate condition, maintaining the high standards of comfort, luxury & service that guests are accustomed to in this prestigious hotel.
Good experience or an aspiration to be able to achieve the quality & standards expected of all hotel staff.
Similar background in Hotel Maintenance, Maintenance Engineering or doing Maintenance in the hospitality sector & have access to your own transport.
