Our client is looking to fill a permanent Handyman job.

Working in a luxury serviced apartment block based in Croydon, Surrey.

Handyman job salary up to £30k, M-F 9-5.

Job Duties

The Handyman job in Croydon, Surrey will involve

• Perform general handyman jobs such as painting/decoration/general fixes of rooms and communal areas.
• General repairs to building, facilities, infrastructure, and equipment including plumbing, joinery, electrical, painting, tiling,resealing.
• The Handyman job will involve carrying out health & safety checks and maintain records.
• Daily/weekly building checklists including all public areas and all plant rooms.
• Weekly fire alarm testing.
• Cleaning and inspecting boiler/plant machinery.
• The Handyman job will also require maintaining the landscape of the building if applicable.

Job Requirements

• The ideal Handyman for the Handyman job in Croydon, Surrey will have previous experience preferably in a hotel/similar residential property.
• Live within a short commute of Croydon, Surrey.
• Work using your own initiative and proactive ability to work under pressure.
• The Handyman will have a presentable appearance and be able to provide great customer service.
• Highly organised with ability to multi-task and prioritise. Keen attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The Handyman will be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
