Our Client is looking for a Handyman to work at an accommodation building based in Bournemouth, BH8. Pay rate between £13.00-£15.00 per hour.
Fixed term Contract - 3 Months - may be extended.
M-F 40hrs pw + some weekends.
JOB DUTIES
Carry out general maintenance, identity & resolve maintenance issues.
Assist with fire alarm testing & fire extinguisher checks, water temperature monitoring, shower head cleaning and emergency lighting checks.
Support cleaning staff & ensure the site is clean by litter picking, rubbish removal and clearing pathways as required. Deal with any complaints to ensure they are resolved.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidate for the Handyman job will have similar experience working in a customer facing role, someone who has worked in a maintenance or caretaker job. Ability to work unsupervised & within a team. Flexible with working hours.
Knowledge of health & safety regulations.
