Blade Recruitment has a vacancy for a Handyman to work in a classic hotel in Harrow, Middlesex HA1. The job is offering up to £24k pa, working Mon - Fri, flexible hours 30-40 hrs per week.
JOB DUTIES FOR THE HANDYMAN JOB
The Handyman will carry out basic plumbing & electrics, maintain fire doors & carry out weekly fire alarm tests. General fabric maintenance, painting, decorating & basic carpentry. The Handyman will test emergency lighting, respond to breakdowns, diagnosing faults & repairing equipment. Responsible for maintaining stock levels, ordering parts & arranging repairs. Carry out preventative & reactive maintenance within the hotel. Attend to all fault logs for building services & general building maintenance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE HANDYMAN JOB
The ideal Handyman will have job experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment & will be well presented, have excellent communication skills.
Preferably will have knowledge of health & safety regulations. Someone with basic experience in electrical & HVAC. Be multi skilled & has previous job experience working as a Fabric Engineer, Maintenance Handyman, Painter, Plumber, Maintenance Assistant or Maintenance Engineer. Ideally the Handyman will live local to Harrow in Middlesex.
