An established property management group is currently looking to fill a Handyman job role to look after a portfolio of residential & commercial properties based around Brixton, London. Permanent job offering a salary of up to £33k + Van.
Handyman job hours are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.
JOB DUTIES
The Handyman job will be responsible for
Regular upkeep & maintenance of properties.
Responding to calls from management of maintenance issues in properties.
The Handyman will carry out general maintenance both internally and externally in properties, carry out repairs to damages in properties.
Carry out installation/removal of appliances, furniture & hardware, plumbing, electrics, carpentry, grounds keeping, painting/decorating and furniture repair/assembly & log paperwork to document Handyman jobs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The preferred candidate for the Handyman job will ideally be multi skilled and have experience carrying out general maintenance work.
Someone with good job time management, able to work alone or as part of a team.
The Handyman will have knowledge of health & safety standards and will have a full driving licence.
Someone who has worked in a customer facing job as a Maintenance Engineer, Senior Maintenance Man, Maintenance Technician, Facilities Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Plumber, Maintenance Electrician or Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer could be suitable for the job.
JOB LOCATION
The Handyman job role will be based in Brixton, London SW9 & will work mobile locally and in surrounding areas.
