We are currently looking to fill a permanent job for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to work at a prestigious accommodation building near to Green Park, London.

Salary up to £32k + excellent job benefits.

Working 40hrs pw, 5 days out of 7

Job Duties

• The Lead Maintenance Engineer job London will involve assisting the Maintenance Manager to help lead a small maintenance team to ensure effective communication and leadership.
• Responsible for the planned preventative maintenance scheme.
• Ensure maintenance tasks are completed and to attend to any maintenance issues as required.
• The Lead Maintenance Engineer will monitor the inventory of materials and equipment, raise purchase orders, and maintain records.
• Supervise maintenance contractors and ensure correct risk assessments and method statements are in place.
• Carrying out health and safety checks and inspections.
• The Lead Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance department in the absence of the Maintenance Manager.

Job Requirements

• Ideal candidates for the Lead Maintenance Engineer job will have similar job experience preferably in the hospitality industry.
• The Lead Maintenance Engineer will be skilled with using tools and experience in building maintenance.
• The Lead Maintenance Engineer will have the ability to delegate tasks, someone who is motivated and positive. Be an excellent timekeeper.
• Well presented and have good communication skills.
