Permanent job, offering up to £30k pa, working M-F 40hrs pw incl alternate weekends.
JOB DUTIES OF THE MAINTENANCE ENGINEER JOB
The Maintenance Engineer job will involve Undertake the repair & maintenance of the building fabric, plant & equipment by carrying out PPM & ensuring it is completed in accordance with set schedules. Monitor plant through the B.M.S – investigating any alarm conditions & rectify. Carry out scheduled changing/cleaning of filters. Legionella testing requirements in regard to; water temperatures, chlorination, de-scaling, recording results & action taken.
Responsible for daily, weekly & monthly checks to all plant & equipment in all plant room & boiler houses – keeping records up to date & report on any action required to allow correct functioning of plant/equipment. Maintain an up to date plant register – recording all servicing & maintenance carried out on all plant. Monitor & check the borehole water system ensuring rotation of boreholes for extraction & chlorination levels are kept within the set parameters. Assist & oversee any work carried out by specialist contractors. Carry out risk assessments in conjunction with the team & ensure risks are minimised & reported accordingly. Ensure appropriate action is taken to remedy any breakdowns in plant/systems normal operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS OF THE MAINTENANCE ENGINEER JOB
The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Engineer job will experience a similar role. Preferably hold electrical or mechanical qualifications. Good knowledge of plant room and legionella. Customer relationship skills & be well presented.
