Our client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to work at a high profile building based near Enfield, London EN1. Pay up to £16.50 p/h + working M-F 35hrs pw.
The Maintenance Engineer job is temporary with a possibility of leading to a permanent position.
JOB DUTIES
The Maintenance Engineer job will involve the following
Responsible for carrying out planned & reactive maintenance to plant and equipment. Maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems and equipment and other systems in conjunction with other maintenance engineers, carrying out multi skilled maintenance. Ensure work is carried out to Health and Safety Regulations and risk assessments are undertaken. To be responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of areas such as plant rooms and workshops.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Preferred candidates for the Maintenance Engineer job will hold a recognised qualification or apprenticeship in a building services related discipline and ideally will have previous experience of building maintenance systems such as mechanical equipment & electrical systems.
Someone who has worked previously as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Electrician, Maintenance Plumber, Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer, Building Services Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or HVAC engineer would be suitable for the Maintenance Engineer job.
The Maintenance Engineer will have good knowledge of H&S regulations, have good verbal and written skills and be flexible with working hours covering weekends and evenings as required.
