Maintenance Engineering Job available to work in a commercial facility building based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Salary offered for the Maintenance Engineering Job is up to £38k pa and working M-F 37.5hrs pw.

Job Duties

The Maintenance Engineering Job duties will be as follow:

• Carrying out maintenance to mechanical engineering systems including pumps, boilers & AHU’s.
• Carry out mechanical & electrical maintenance duties, both planned maintenance & reactive maintenance.
• Carry out maintenance to HVAC systems, assist other maintenance engineering staff.
• Ensure that all working practices are carried out to Health and Safety Regulations and that appropriate risk assessments are undertaken before any maintenance engineering work is commenced.
• Ensure cleanliness of areas such as plant rooms and workshops.
• Advise on the procurement of maintenance materials required for maintenance engineering work. 

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Engineering Job will have the following:

• Hold a recognised qualification in a mechanical or plumbing maintenance trade.
• Preferred applicants for the Maintenance Engineering Job will have knowledge of industrial or domestic mechanical equipment and experience working in a similar Maintenance Engineering Job.
• Have worked as a Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Senior Maintenance Engineer, Plumbing Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineering Supervisor, Maintenance Technician, M&E Maintenance Engineer or HVAC Engineer would be suitable for the Maintenance Engineering Job.
• Flexibility with working hours and call outs will be required for the Maintenance Engineering Job.
