Maintenance Engineer Sussex
A Maintenance Engineer position has come up to supervise a Hotel Engineering team, based near Walberton, West Sussex BN18 0SB, paying up to £31k per annum & hours are mainly 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Some weekend work involved.
Job responsibilities
The Maintenance Engineer will lead the Engineering Team in the day-to-day engineering & maintenance operations of the hotel including managing the Health & Safety. The maintenance engineer will carry out planned preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance of the building & its grounds & general maintenance tasks such as light plumbing, PAT testing, grouting & silicone work. The Maintenance Engineer will action schedules to ensure the fabric of the hotel is both aesthetically & immaculate. Ensure the building is compliant with all areas of legislation, completing necessary checks & records.The maintenance engineer job includes diagnosis, maintain & repair mechanical equipment within the hotel. To ensure good relationships are built with internal & external customers.
Job requirements
Ideally the maintenance engineer will have previous experience in a job that involves hotel maintenance. Have a trade & good experience in a similar job. Live in the local area of West Sussex.
Be well presented to 5 star expected standards. The Maintenance Engineer will have experience of First Aid.
