Our Client, a contemporary 4-star hotel based in a beautiful building near South Kensington, London SW7 4SF, is looking to fill a permanent Maintenance Engineering job, paying up to £39,580 per annum, working 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts, days only.
JOB DUTIES OF THE MAINTENANCE ENGINEER JOB
The Maintenance Engineering job will involve attending to guest repair requests, resolve maintenance issues with no supervision. Responsible for preventative maintenance & reactive maintenance of plant & equipment & general building services & maintenance around the common areas & in all areas of the building.
The Maintenance Engineering job will inspect tools, equipment, & machines, operation of shut-off valves for equipment & for the building.
Responsible for the UPS Systems, Spa rooms & maintenance of the asset register, keeping an inventory, ordering parts & supplies as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS OF THE MAINTENANCE ENGINEER JOB
Ideally, applicants for the Maintenance Engineering Job will come from a hospitality background or have had some hotel maintenance experience, a good stable working background & working references will be required.
The candidate would be someone multi skilled, with a trade qualification, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing or HVAC or similar, & have a pleasant disposition, be hard working & happy to do what it takes to get the job done. Some call outs involved, so an engineer who lives within an easy commute to London would be ideal, there is onsite parking for emergencies, & out of hours calls, if required.
