One of the UK’s top maintenance contractors is currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineering Supervisor to lead an Engineering team at a blue-chip building based near Liverpool Street in the heart of the City of London.
The job role is located in the financial hub of London, the salary is up to £48K, hours are M-F 8-5.
JOB DUTIES
The Maintenance Engineer will be looking after a team of three maintenance engineers and will take responsibility for the day to day building services & maintenance activities on site.
Planned preventative maintenance & reactive maintenance of all plant & equipment.
Assist Maintenance Engineers when required & attending to emergencies when needed, submitting reports, attending meetings, maintaining the asset register, fire alarm equipment testing, supervision of the maintenance team, managing of the sub-contractors & liaison with the Client.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate would be someone who has worked in a job as a Maintenance Engineering Supervisor & is trade qualified, electrical, mechanical, plumbing or HVAC preferred. C&G Level or equivalent.
Experience of working in a critical systems environment is ideal.
Excellent communication skills, well presented with a stable work history & contactable references.
Lives within a good commute of the site in Liverpool Str, London.
Good knowledge of health and safety
The Maintenance Engineer would ideally have experience working with a blue-chip commercial client would be a plus.
This position is for a Maintenance Engineer who wants to get into their first supervisory role.
