Blade Recruitment is trying to fill 3 mechanical maintenance jobs in Leeds, ongoing temp job roles, for urgent start in West Yorkshire, doing shift work, based in a hotel, doing maintenance, paying up to £18.35p/h. 

Job duties

The mechanical maintenance jobs are responsible for planned & reactive mechanical & electrical maintenance of plant and equipment for the building.

The maintenance job role will provide first line response for maintenance & building emergencies & out of hours call outs.

The maintenance job purpose is to ensure all maintenance logs are carried out in compliance with health & safety standards, working within SLA times,  keeping job orders up to date,

Stock, materials & parts are ordered in a timely manner for all jobs while following procedures.

Provide technical support with regards to the maintenance of the building as required. 

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for the maintenance job in Leeds will have a recognised apprenticeship or qualification in a mechanical trade.

Significant maintenance job experience, ideally gained within a job in the hotel environment.  Knowledge of HVAC, the ability to work unsupervised in a highly pressured job environment & good with working to deadlines. 

Ideally the candidate for the maintenance job role will live within a commutable distance of the job base of Leeds, West Yorkshire. Have excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Hours are shift, 40 hours pw - various hours.
