Our client is looking to fill temp-perm Maintenance jobs in Hatfield, Hertfordshire AL9. Maintenance Engineers required for an immediate start to work in a high end commercial building.
Salary offered up to £30k pa + benefits & on call allowance.
Working hours M-F 35hrs pw.
JOB DUTIES
The Maintenance job will involve working with the maintenance team, carrying out planned maintenance & reactive maintenance to mechanical & electrical systems & equipment & ensure efficient delivery maintenance services.
Carry out multi skilled maintenance using tools, equipment & machinery to a high standard.
Ensure maintenance jobs are carried out to H&S regulations and that appropriate risk assessments are undertaken before any maintenance work is commenced. Responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of areas such as plant rooms and workshops.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ideally applicants for the Maintenance Job will be qualified in a building maintenance trade & will have multi skilled maintenance experience.
Preferred candidates for the maintenance job will have experience working in a commercial environment, hospitality or educational environment.
Full UK driving licence required and ideally own transport.
Flexible with working hours, covering outside working hours as necessary & the ability to participate in out of hours rota.
Ability to work unsupervised and in a team. Prioritise work and meet deadlines.
Have excellent communication skills. Good knowledge of health and safety & IT skills.
The Maintenance job will involve undertaking training as required to allow safe working practice.

Working M-F 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm rotating weekly.
On Call allowance of £1000 pa
