Blade Recruitment is trying to fill a
Maintenance Manager job role for an elite hotel located near Victoria Station in London. This exciting
maintenance manager job opportunity is paying up to £62k pa, the hours are 40 pw 8am to 5pm.
Job Duties
The Maintenance Manager job role will be responsible for the maintenance department and will be required to oversee the day - day maintenance of the hotel & head up a maintenance team headcount of 15 staff.
Managing the development & implementation of maintenance programs, managing any construction projects or refurbishment works, & will be responsible for purchasing and appointment & management of sub contractors.
The
Maintenance Manager job role is required to manage the annual maintenance budgets, & be involved in setting, developing & implementing the maintenance expenditure budget & compiling the department budget reports.
In addition, the job also involves staff management & recruitment, selection, inductions, training & development for the
maintenance department.
Job Requirements
The candidate for the Maintenance Manager job will have an excellent understanding of electrical & mechanical building systems & have worked in a similar job role & managed a similar sized maintenance department.
Ideally the candidate for the
maintenance manager job role will live within a commutable distance from the London hotel.
Preferably the
maintenance manager will come from a hotel background and have worked in a similar
maintenance manager job role or have experience working in a Facilities Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering
Maintenance Manager or Estates Manager
job role.
Job Location
The Maintenance Manager job is based near Victoria Station, London SW1.
