Our client is looking to fill a Maintenance Technician job to work in an upmarket hotel near Harlow, Essex CM20.
The Maintenance Technician will be working with an established maintenance team from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
Salary offered for the Maintenance Job up to £34k increasing after the job probationary period and excellent job benefits.
JOB DUTIES
The Maintenance Technician Job will involve the following duties
- Responsible for carrying out preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance.
- Carry out water sample tests and treat water systems with chemicals.
- Maintenance to bedroom fan coil units, check and monitor boilers, pumps and motors. Repair any leaks on pipes and tanks, carry out plant room checks ensure plant areas are clean.
- Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- The Maintenance Technician job will involve emergency call outs to attend to.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Preferred candidate for the Maintenance Technician Job will hold plumbing or mechanical qualifications and will ideally have maintenance experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Required to attend training sessions and will have knowledge of the fire and emergency operations of the hotel.
Suitable candidates for the Maintenance Technician Job will have previous experience working as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Plumber, Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, M&E Engineer or Plant Room Maintenance Engineer.
