A leading provider of mechanical engineering maintenance services is looking to fill a Mechanical Engineer job to work in a commercial building based in Islington, London N1. Working as part of the shift team to ensure that all mechanical engineering jobs are completed.
The Mechanical Engineer job is paying up to £38k depending on experience. Working hours 12hr day shifts, 4 on 4 off.
JOB DUTIES
The following duties will be carried out for the Mechanical Engineer job
Respond to delegated job orders and ensure PPM and reactive work is completed in accordance with contract SLA’S.
Carry out maintenance and repairs to mechanical engineering systems and plant including pumps, AHU’s, motors and ventilation equipment.
Assist & monitor subcontractors to maintain engineering equipment.
General mechanical duties related to the plant room.
The Mechanical Engineer job may involve some plumbing maintenance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The Mechanical Engineer job would require a fully qualified Mechanical Engineer or time served Mechanical Engineer.
Preferred Mechanical Engineer would have experience working in a Mechanical Engineering job & good working knowledge of mechanical plant, heating systems & steam boilers.
Suitable candidates considered for the Mechanical Engineer job role could be someone who has worked as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Multi Skilled Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Shift Mechanical Technician, HVAC Engineer, Air Conditioning Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Gas Engineer or Mechanical Engineering Supervisor.
