wanted urgently for an immediate start. The Handyman Hemel Hempstead job role is temporary ongoing, for a large retail site. The hours of the Handyman Hemel Hempstead job are 7am to 4pm, the pay rate is up to £17p/h & meals on duty will be provided. 

Job Duties

The Handyman Hemel Hempstead job will involve the following:

General maintenance and repairs & ensure maintenance of the retail store and public areas are maintained to a high standard.

Responsible for basic electrical & plumbing work, small carpentry works and minor installation works.

The Handyman Hemel Hempstead job will be responsible for carrying out fabric maintenance jobs including painting & decorating, general lifting & shifting, basic electrical jobs and attending to general repairs, installation, maintenance, cleaning & assembly of retail shop displays when required.

Job Requirements

For the Handyman Hemel Hempstead job role, the candidate will ideally have:

Have basic maintenance handyman experience, have worked doing basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, painting & decorating & carpentry work.

The Handyman Hemel Hempstead job will suit someone with a multi-skilled background with a good knowledge of building maintenance, facilities or estates. 

Ideally the candidate will be extremely well presented and have excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate for the Handyman Hemel Hempstead job role will have previous experience in a similar job role in a retail store, commercial building or in the hospitality environment, ideally as Maintenance Handyman, Maintenance Assistant, Maintenance Technician or Handyman.

Job Location

The Handyman Hemel Hempstead job role is based near the local main railway station. Within walking distance.

Job Offer

The Handyman Hemel Hempstead job role is offering:

Pay rate of up to £17p/h depending on experience

Hours 7am to 4pm M-S

40 hours per week - 5 days a week

Meals on duty will be provided. 

Ongoing temp job role.
