Job duties

The Handyperson job in Southampton will involve the following

• The Handyperson will ensure a safe environment for the residents, adhering to health and safety standards.
• General Handyperson jobs to ensure that fixtures and fittings are in good condition.
• Carrying out repairs, fixing cupboard doors, putting up shelves, pictures and changing light bulbs.
• The Handyperson will also be responsible for grass cutting and building furniture.
• Complete relevant paperwork of all maintenance and handyperson jobs.
• The Handyperson job will involve weekly fire alarm checks and fire extinguishers, monthly water outlet temperature checks.

Job Requirements

Preferably candidates applying for the Handyperson job will have basic maintenance experience. Ideally the Handyperson will live locally in Southampton, Hampshire, near to Totten in Southampton.
