Maintenance Engineer job available to work in an extravagant 5* hotel based in Canary Wharf, London E14, joining a large team of maintenance engineers working early & late shifts, 40hrs pw, including weekends. Temporary job leading to permanent. Pay rate offered up to £15.50 per hour.
MAINTENANCE ENGINEER JOB DUTIES
The Maintenance Engineer job will involve
Ggeneral building maintenance, attend to the maintenance & repairs of all building fabric, mechanical & electrical plant.
Responsible for carrying out some fabric maintenance jobs including basic carpentry, painting & decorating, general lifting & shifting, basic electrical & plumbing work. Attending to general repairs, installation, maintenance, cleaning, & assembly of projects.
MAINTENANCE ENGINEER JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Engineer job will have previous experience in a similar job role in a Hotel or commercial building as a Maintenance Handyman, Shift Engineer, Maintenance Assistant or Maintenance Technician.
Have basic maintenance experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, painting & decorating & carpentry work.
The Maintenance Engineer job will suit someone with a Multi Skilled background who has a good knowledge of building maintenance, facilities or estates. Ideally the candidate will be extremely well presented, up to 5 Star std & have excellent communication skills.

The Maintenance Engineer job is offering:
Up to £15.50 per hour
Temporary job leading to permanent position
Early & late shifts 7am-3.30pm / 2.30pm-11pm incl. Weekends 9am-9pm
20 days holidays + 8 bank holidays per year
Meal and uniform provided
Pension Scheme
Friends & Family rate on accommodation
