Permanent job available for a Shift Engineer to work at a prestigious accommodation building in Covent Garden, London.



Salary offered for the Shift Engineer job is up to £35k, working 8am-8pm, 4 on 4 off.

JOB DUTIES

The Shift Engineer job will involve;

The Shift Engineer will coordinate and perform routine, preventive and emergency maintenance and carry out repairs to obtain optimum efficiency.

The Shift Engineer will respond to guest's maintenance needs promptly and ensure guests receive professional, efficient prompt and courteous service to hotel standards.

The Shift Engineer will maintain the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel mechanical and electrical systems.

Installation & maintenance of all equipment related to HVAC, water treatment, fire safety and emergency life support systems.

Maintain, monitor and oversee the testing of the hotel's emergency and security systems, features, fire alarm, CCTV, sprinkler system.

The Shift Engineer will oversee basic plumbing and drainage, fixing leaking taps, WC’s etc. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ideal candidates for the Shift Engineer job will have good all-around knowledge of building services.

The Shift Engineer must have previous experience in a similar role, ideally from a hotel environment.

The Shift Engineer will have great customer service skills.

Must have the ability to lead, multi-task, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

The Shift Engineer will have IT skills including experience of using BMS, Word, Excel, and a preventative and reactive software reporting system.

The Shift Engineer job is based near to Covent Garden station, London WC2E 9JT.
